An explosion in an apartment building three homes in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Wednesday left at least 13 injured.

After the explosion firefighters arrived to contain a fire broke out in the house.
A spokesman for the Emergency Medical Services Hennepin County said 13 people were taken to hospitals, and some of them are in critical condition.
Most victims have burns and injuries by jumping from the building gusts.
The victims were taken to several hospitals in Minneapolis, said Craig Nelson of the Minneapolis Fire Department.
Authorities do not know if the injured jumped or were hurled through the windows during the explosion, CNN said.
This situation represents a challenge for firefighters who attended the incident Minneapolis meets subzero temperatures.
Officials are reviewing the building where the explosion and subsequent fire in search of survivors.
The Associated Press said a thick column of gray smoke comes from the burning building.

The building work apartments, a supermarket and a mosque, Nelson told the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The explosion occurred at about 8:15 am Wednesday.
